Prompt:
Light and craft a visually interesting scene given a modeled temple asset, and the theme of grass. Focus only lighting and effects. Below are some of the restrictions:

FOV change when near the centerpiece-- creates a moment of awe of discovery
Primitive cylinders to create the canopy, with the use of an animated cookie to create shadow effects
Outside the temple: fog occluding the centerpiece

Goal
I wanted my temple scene to emulate a moment of adventure. This was accomplished by occluding the centerpiece, and revealing it only when the player is close. At that moment, the fog dissipates, the sky is visible, and the player is presented with a wondrous yet calming scene. I managed to capture an important moment found in many other games, solely through lighting and effects.
